I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for the work that you and your entire staff have done on our new web site. In a business environment where the benchmark is meeting a clients expectations, you and your staff have greatly exceeded ours.
Every business owner's biggest fear is being put in a position where they have to make important capital expenditure decisions based on less than all of the necessary information. That is especially the case with web site development companies because the technology is changing so fast that getting a company to actually say what they will do, how they will do it and what results we can expect.....is pretty tough. Every one can talk the talk ... but not one ofthese companies put together a proposal that came anywhere close to resembling a specific, target-dated plan. We solicited five bids from other companies and your proposal was the only one that we could read, understand and relate to. Yours was the only one that addressed the fundamental issues of planning, basic assumptions, projected timelines and projected costs. We went into this project fully understanding what we were trying to accomplish, what it was going to cost, what the time-line was going to be and what we could expect when the project was done. Not one of the other companies provided anything other than an estimate of initial costs and a disclaimer that it could cost substantially more. I don't know exactly how you did it, but these other companies should take a lesson or two from you.
As a result of what you and your staff have done, our new web site has generated more business in the last four months than we had generated in the last two years. While I admit that some of that increase comes from the changes we have made in our site, the bottom line here is that no one else could present and execute a viable plan for this project.
